Order a book and help a good cause. A portion of the net sales of every ebook will be donated to the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. This organization has taken the responsibility to represent the interests and the protection of the Colonial Spanish Mustangs that roam from Corolla to the Virginia border. It is a big job to care for and protect these beautiful animals. The Fund depends on donations to cover these expenses. Visit their website at: https://www.corollawildhorses.com. And when you visit the OBX, take time to visit the Fund's museums and stores in Corolla and Duck.

From the Author

I was born near the Outer Banks and made my first trip to the beach when I was three months old. I obviously don't remember how I felt about the OBX then, but I know that I came to love it not long after that first trip and cherished every trip there as a child and later as an adult. I have made well over 100 visits since that first one and each time I feel like my soul has been recharged. The ocean and beaches are great, but there is a lot more to this "ribbon of sand." This book guides you to all of the preserved places that in many cases are much like they were hundreds of years ago and they are often only minutes away from the beach. Enjoy the wildlife and landscapes found there and add them to your memories of a great vacation.
